Ruthzee Louijeune becomes Boston City Council president; says she is aiming for less acrimony

Following her unanimous, New Year’s Day election as president of the Boston City Council by her fellow councilors, Ruthzee Louijeune promised to bring civility and public trust back to the chamber.
